Israel and NSA: Partners in crime

It wasn’t the US government breaking into the private communications of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, according to top secret documents unearthed by Edward Snowden and published in Le Monde – it was the Israelis. A four-page internal précis regarding a visit to Washington by two top French intelligence officials denies the NSA or any US intelligence agency was behind the May 2012 attempted break-in – which sought to implant a monitoring device inside the Elysee Palace’s communications system – but instead fingers the Israelis, albeit indirectly: The visit by Barnard Barbier, head of the DGSE’s technical division, and Patrick … Continue reading Israel and NSA: Partners in crime

Farmers To Face Fines Or Prison Sentences For Selling Food Directly To Customers

(David Gumpert) This would seem to embody the USDA’s advisory, “Know your farmer, know your food,” right? Not exactly. For the USDA and its sister food regulator, the FDA, there’s a problem: many of the farmers are distributing the food via private contracts like herd shares and leasing arrangements, which fall outside the regulatory system of state and local retail licenses and inspections that govern public food sales. In response, federal and state regulators are seeking legal sanctions against farmers in Maine, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and California, among others. These sanctions include injunctions, fines, and even prison sentences. Food sold … Continue reading Farmers To Face Fines Or Prison Sentences For Selling Food Directly To Customers

The Subversive Sayanim Amongst Us

by Zen Gardner This is a very hot topic that gets taken down off the net repeatedly. You’ll soon understand why. It’s one of the most diabolical, wickedly-intended and insidiously communicated subversive influences in society. Why haven’t we heard about it? “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.” -Voltaire Here’s a good starter article on the subject and I added a collection of examples at the bottom. Wiked-pedia deleted the topic as have others, or cleverly buried the information. Yup, they control Wiki too…surprise! Not. Sayanim – Israeli Operatives in the … Continue reading The Subversive Sayanim Amongst Us

Biologists Discover Tiny Neural Computers in the Brain

Neuroscientists have learned that dendrites do more than just provide passive wiring in the brain. These nerve cell connectors also process information, essentially functioning as tiny computers. Our brains, it would appear, pack more computing power than we assumed. Dendrites are those branch-like extensions at the beginning of neurons that increase the surface area of cell bodies, or soma. These tiny outgrowths receive information from other neurons and transmit electrical stimulation to the soma. But we’re now learning that this isn’t the full extent of dendritic function. In a new study published in Nature, researchers at the University of North … Continue reading Biologists Discover Tiny Neural Computers in the Brain

US college to pay child sex abuse victims $60 million

Pennsylvania State University announced Monday a payout of $60 million for 26 victims abused by convicted child sex offender, American football coach Jerry Sandusky. Now aged 69, Sandusky is expected to spend the rest of his life behind bars, after being found guilty in court of molesting 10 children between 1994 and 2008. Destruction of Peru’s rainforest by illegal gold mining is twice as bad as experts thought

3D model shows that illegal gold mining is wiping out a global biodiversity hotspot The destruction of a global biodiversity hotspot deep in the Peruvian Amazon by illegal gold mining is twice as bad as previously thought, an authoritative new study using ground-breaking technology has revealed. According to the report by the US-based Carnegie Institution for Science, 15,810 acres of rainforest in Peru’s Madre de Dios region, home to various nature and indigenous reserves as well as a booming eco-tourism industry, have vanished per year since the start of the 2008 global economic crisis. The crisis saw international gold prices … Continue reading Destruction of Peru’s rainforest by illegal gold mining is twice as bad as experts thought
